Product Information

The surface becomes darker and unattractive. Over time excess trapped moisture darkens the surface. We have adjusted the formula of this impregnating sealing product to improve application and sealing performance. Stormdry only requires one coat, and we found that it was touch-dry after a few hours and water repellent after two days and largely water resistant after 28 days.

There is another option which is cheating basically, but would cost less and if done correctly, no one would know the difference unless they went up and touched the wall.

HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Lightly brush the solution onto the wall, starting at the top and working down and remember to wear washing up rubber gloves whilst doing it. Importantly, although the product can be used throughout the year, try to avoid temperatures below 10°C. Only apply when realistically you would expect an external surface to dry. Avoid damp, cloudy days with no drying wind. Always remember that the surface needs to dry a few millimetres deep. Certainly, any moisture still present just below the surface will stop the product from penetrating correctly and reduce or neutralise its effectiveness. If spraying use only manual pump sprayer with large droplet nozzle. DO NOT MIST EU limit value for this product (cat.A/h): 30 g/l (2010) This product contains max. 1 g/l VOC. After waiting about a day for the surface to dry, fill up the pump sprayer with your sealer of choice and spray it onto the material. Be sure to spread any runs or drips while they are wet with a paint roller. Allow the sealer to dry however long the instructions say before adding a second coat.

Once the above is done, lightly brush the wall with a soft broom head or old emulsion brush to get rid of dust.Store indoors in a cool dry place. Shelf life of Kingfi sher “Stone Sealer” is approximately 12 months from date of manufacture. Even sealers with low VOC levels will be hazardous if they enter your eyes, mouth, or nose. Always wear protective gear when spraying sealer to prevent harm from occurring. That is a question we get asked often and generally it is more expensive than internal but does so much more and is not marketed as decorative but PROTECTIVE because remember, your walls outside get a hammering from the weather.
